Creative Visualization and Millionaire Minds

Tap into the Powers of Your Brain
by Jack Canfield, America’s Success Coach

Tap into the Powers of Your BrainYour brain will work tirelessly to achieve the statements you give your subconscious mind. When those statements are the affirmation of your goals, you are certain to achieve them! Stating these goals can be tricky however, and your subconscious mind needs things put a certain way.

You need to be specific with yourself. The more specific you are with your goal the more your brain has to go on to make them happen.

Remember, vague goals produce vague results. Don’t be afraid to be detailed with what you want! Write it all down as if you were putting in an order. Your subconscious will make it happen for you by steering you toward those opportunities.

Your goals might seem a bit overwhelming at first glance. But look again! Do you see how your goals can be broken down into a series of steps? What needs to be done first and next and after that? Keep writing the steps until you reach the goal.

Here’s a fun fact to help you attain your goals: your brain does not know the difference between actually doing something and just visualizing something being done. Your brain processes the two the same way!

Have you ever imagined yourself making a total flop out of yourself moments before you really do? That is because your brain really experienced it when you visualized it. Your brain will work to make happen whatever is being inputted.

What do you daydream about? Do you visualize yourself being successful? Do you visualize other people judging you? What you think about, you bring about!

Make it a habit to spend time visualizing your goals in detail as if you are living them right now. Do it every day, several times a day! Your brain will begin functioning as if your goals are already attained. You will start being the person you want to be simply because that is what is being processed in your brain. Your brain will make you notice all the resources available to you that you never noticed before. You will attract all the things you need to accomplish your goal.

Don’t visualize what it will be like, visualize what it is like!

Live it right now in your mind, everything in the present tense. What does it look like right now? What does it sound like and smell like? How does it feel? Create these detailed images and show your brain what it all looks like already complete. Your brain brings to your awareness only the things that match your beliefs about yourself, others, and the world. Everything else it filters out. When you visualize your completed goals in detail, your brain filters out everything that doesn’t pertain to those goals!

Write down your goals, break them down into achievable bits and every night visualize them completed. Then every morning visualize them completed. Take the time that is necessary to go through each goal in detail. Trust this process, the power of your brain has been greatly undervalued in the achievement of your goals!

The Paralysis of Perfection

“If you aren’t making any mistakes, it’s a sure sign you’re playing it too safe.”

John Maxwell
American author, speaker and leadership expert

I first heard the phase, “the paralysis of perfection” during the Millionaire Mind Intensive program. Our MMI trainer, Doug Nelson, was sharing T. Harv Eker’s theory “That every master was once a disaster”, and the only way to reach excellence is just “Frigin’ do it”, look at the results, adjust the approach and repeat, always looking to improve the process until you get the result you want.

Doug went on to explain that our ego-mind often plays the “got-to-be-perfect” card to keep our money blueprint at it’s current ‘set-point’. When we aim for perfection in everything, at some level, we are unconsciously setting ourselves up for certain failure.

In the book that inspired “The Secret”, The Science of Getting Rich, Wally Wattles addresses the paralysis of perfection. Mr. Wattles advises “efficient” action and suggests, “…to do each day all that we can do WITHOUT hurrying.” Rather than trying to be PERFECT at everything we do, seeking EXCELLENCE is a better objective.

Excellence takes into account our “imperfections.”

There’s only ONE way to express perfection in a particular endeavor and, an infinite number of ways — to be less than perfect.

Doug talked about simply “relaxing into the gap” and to focus on taking action now aiming for consistently excellent results, instead of waiting to action with the “hope” of perfect results ‘someday. In his book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, T. Harv Eker refers to this as the “Fire, Ready Aim” approach. Releasing the need for perfection and just taking action, right here, right now takes releases the expectation of perfection and allows us approach the project with joy, rather than fear of failure. It is wonderfully liberating to stop expecting that everyone else be perfect, too.

A number of the Millionaire Mind Intensive exercises are design to uncover our hidden belief systems about money and success. Until we are clear about WHAT we want, and WHY we want it, moving out of existing comfort zone will be difficult. I discovered I shared a mind set frequently found in the adult children of alcoholics — my own urge to be “perfect” was actually based in a need to CONTROL everything and everyone in my little world.
Wattles points out, we don’t have to direct the ‘Original Substance’ or control the creative process. In fact, we can’t! We just have to reach clarity about WHAT we really WANT and proceed from there.

Doug Nelson always stresses the importance of constant action.
Success is not a sprint, or a grueling marathon — it is a daily, joyful, purposeful walk. Approaching each day with appreciation, taking action, doing the best you can at that given moment and recognizing each success, provides the “gap” to relax into,

Striving for excellence doesn’t beat me over the head every time I make a mistake. I’m able to note the result, make a correction and do better the next time.

I have resigned from a not so exclusive club — the perfection police. Rather than concern myself with what is wrong, I seek to note that which is right

“Expect excellence from yourself in a way that motivates and inspires you, but don’t set yourself up to fail at being perfectly perfect every minute.”

A good laugh or even a gentle chuckle is good for your health and your wealth

“Perfectionist’s Prayer”

Dear God –

Help me not be a perfectionist. (Did I spell that correctly?)

Help me to relax about insignificant details, beginning tomorrow
at 7:41:23 a.m. EST.

Help me to not try to run everything — but, if You need some
help, please feel free to ask me.

Help me to consider people’s feelings, even if most of them are
hypersensitive.

Help me to take responsibility for the consequences of my
actions, even though they’re usually not my fault.

Help me to be more laid back, and help me to do it exactly right.

Help me to take things more seriously — especially laughter,
parties, and dancing.

Give me patience, and I mean right now!

Help me to finish everything I start

Help me to keep my mind on one thing — oh, look, a bird — at a
time.

Help me to do only what I can, and trust for the rest. And could
I get that in writing?

Keep me open to others’ ideas, misguided though they may be.

Help me follow established procedures. Hey, wait — this is wrong

Help me slow down andnotrushthroughwhatido.

Thank you. Amen

Your Inner Voice is Whispering to You…

I received this message from Millionaire Mind Intensive graduate, Nan Akasha this morning. I found it so profound, I wanted to share it with our Millionaire Mind Support Network™.

Many of you know Nan as Chris Sherrod’s beloved life partner. Those who have been lucky enough to hear her radio and pod casts, attend her classes or read any of her works recognize Nan as loving and wise soul and Law of Attraction Master.

Your Inner Voice is Whispering to you…

Are you listening?

Are you sure?

Put down that coffee, stop reading the news and 10 emails at once…take a deep breath, relax!

There is no rush, there is no goal line for life…

Want to feel peace? Stop arguing with reality!
Want to feel good and calm no matter what is happening?

Accept what is.

No, do not think this means you are giving up,
Don’t believe it means you condone what is,
or even like it, that is not the point….
You can have wants that are different than what you have now…

No, you are not letting go of life…
Just the opposite, you are going to enter and embrace it for the first time!

By not arguing, defending and justifying, you open the door to inner peace.

Not because you are giving up being the creator of your life, no not at all, in fact, you are going to get to feel and experience the real you, your true feelings, mmmmm

Let go of the thoughts that are always shouting
“why me” or “I have worked so long and hard,
I deserve this and why don’t I have it yet”…
let it go, it does not serve you, it makes you feel bad
and it keeps your abundance away, it always will,

Accept what is, and then in that peaceful, non resistant state,
you get to make choices for what you want, with clarity,
calm and power.

Stop arguing with reality…and open yourself to receive!!

Love and light,
Nan

Millionaire Minds Have Grateful Hearts

This morning I contemplated the role Gratitude plays
in abundance and personal peace.

During the Millionaire Mind Intensive and in the follow-up 90-day Wealth Conditioning program, T. Harv Eker stressed the importance of acknowledging and recording what we have to be grateful for in our success logs. Many of ‘The Secret’ teachers stressed the very powerful the energy attached to thankfulness and its role in manifestation. In our creative visualizations we are encouraged to feel the blessing of attaining our life’s passion. These daily meditations are exercises of universal gratitude. Many of us express thanks daily, in the form of ‘Grace” before our meals.

We say thank you many times during our day as an automatic response. My personal quest this week is to be aware and meaningful when I say thank you. I want to feel my thanks, not just say thank you as a conversational habit. To understand and express gratitude is one of the ways we can nurture our ‘inner-game roots.’ The fruit of gratitude is very sweet. As you go through your week, smile, say and feel thank you as often as possible.

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, and confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

~ Melody Beattie, Unity Chaplin

“The more gratefully we fix our minds on the Supreme when good things come to us, the more good things we will receive, and the more rapidly they will come; and the reason simply is that the mental attitude of Gratitude draws the mind into closer touch with the source from which the blessings come. If it is a new thought to you that Gratitude brings your whole mind into closer harmony with the creative energies of the universe, consider it well, and you will see that it is true.

“The good things you already have come to you along the line of obedience to certain laws. Gratitude will lead your mind out along the ways by which things come; and it will keep you in close harmony with creative thought and prevent you from falling into competitive thought.”

~The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles

This during this next week our thoughts will turn to gratitude and peace many times.

WEEKLY GRATITUDE ASSIGNMENT

Keep a journal of gratitude or peace. Gratitude is a steppingstone to inner peace. It
Is nearly impossible to feel upset and grateful or peaceful at the same time.
Count your blessings by keeping a gratitude journal, as recommended by Sarah
Ban Breathnach in Simple Abundance. Write down, either daily or weekly, everything for which you feel thankful. Record both the little and big things in your life and keep the journal up to date.

You may also choose to keep a peace journal. Write down the times you have felt
at peace during the day or week.

According to Wikipedia, the world’s favorite free encyclopedia.

“Gratitude is the substance of a heart ready to show appreciation, or thankfulness; it is not simply an emotion, which involves a pleasant feeling that can occur when we receive a favor or benefit from another person but rather the combination of a state of being and an emotion; often accompanied by a desire to thank them, or to reciprocate for a favor they have done for you.”

What does Gratitude mean to you?

How do you express gratitude in your daily life?

Do you have a practice or meditation that helps you anchor the feeling pf gratitude in your heart?

If so, please share it with the rest of the Millionaire Mind Support Network™ members.

The Greatest Gift

9/11

Just saying, reading or hearing 9/11 triggers a maelstrom of emotion

— unbearable sadness, grief, loss, fierce anger, betrayal, bewilderment, pride, patriotism, and for some, acceptance, forgiveness and peace.

This year as I feel the memory of 9/11 in my body, I have some new insight that is helping me to experience 9/11 differently.

“Ho’oponopono is a profound gift that allows one to develop a working relationship with the Divinity within and learn to ask in each moment, our error in thought, word, deed or action to be cleansed. The process is essentially about freedom, complete freedom from the past.”

— Morrnah Nalamaku Simeon, Ho’oponopono Master Teacher

To find and eventually share the gift of peace, we must train ourselves to look within rather than judge without.

“Wouldn’t it be great if the world would just change?”
“What If people would become more compassionate and generous?”
“Why can’t they stop all this political double speak and conflict?”
“I just don’t know why they can’t just accept each other’s differences without blowing each other to kingdom come.”
The world would be at peace, if they would just work with each other and be more tolerant.”

The truth is we have no control over what “they” do. But we do have total control over how we behave in our world. It is not what happens to us that determines our peace of mind — it’s how we respond to life’s challenges.

We are our own peacemakers. Peacemakers live by the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” We create peace within our families by supporting one another, giving and seeking support, as it is needed. We give and receive unconditional love. We all give and receive these gifts right where we are, in our homes, offices, our neighborhoods and our communities through the way we live our lives and make decisions.

We can make a difference in the world though the gifts we give and receive.

The Gift Of Love

“Peace Begins with You: Creating Peace Within Ourselves and In Our World.”
This gift is the conscious choice to reveal the best in people, other living creatures and any part of nature. By helping us perceive the beauty that surrounds us, it relieves our self-consciousness and helps us uplift others and ourselves.

How to use the gift of love: Look for the good in other people. Watch them closely, and listen to them carefully to discover what will bring out the joy in them. Then remind them of the unique talents, experience or character qualities they already have that ensure they can have what they want. Give them vivid accounts of instances when they used those traits. Watch the light go on in their eyes.

The Gift Of Dreams

This gift enables us to focus on whatever inspires or uplifts us, letting us play a part in the creation of a better world as we form good intentions and carry them out.

Access your dreams: Ask…

What would make me happy?

Why would it make me happy, and why is it important to me?

How will it benefit other people… and how will I act toward others when I have it?

When do I want it to happen?

Where will my dream take me when it comes true?

The Gift Of Courage

This gift involves taking concrete action to help us achieve the object of our love and dreams. Answering the question, “What am I willing to try?” makes change exciting, rather than frightening. It takes an act of courage to completely release an old hurt and forgive and let go. It is a step into the unknown. The reward of courage is freedom.

The Gift Of Unity

This gift joins us with other like-minded spirits to achieve a shared vision. It asks, “Who can I help?” “Who can help me?” “What can we accomplish together.”

The Gift Of Joy

This gift lets us take pleasure in what we have created, showing us that we are not here just to survive but to satisfy our souls and inspire others to do the same. Start a journal in which you can unleash your joy for a few minutes every day. Answer the questions…

What is going right at this moment?

Why does it make me happy?

How can I best respond to it?

Smile, just because it feels good!

The Gift Of Trust

This gift is the internal radar system that aligns our thoughts and actions to help us grow and makes us feel bad whenever we think, say or do anything that could be harmful.

When you feel stressed, call on your sense of trust. Stop whatever you are doing. Close your eyes… ask yourself what you should do now… take several deep breaths … and listen to your intuition before you take action.

The Gift Of Character

This gift understands who we are now and who we want to be. It reminds us of our authentic self and unique role in the universe.

How to become what you want to be: List all the traits you do not want… then, line by line, make a second list with exactly the opposite traits. Destroy the first list, rewrite the second list, and for each good trait think of at least one person you know who possesses it. Ask yourself, “Which trait would serve me best now?” and picture how your role model would act. After a while, your new traits will become natural.

The Gift Of Thanks

This gift lets us bless what we have achieved with our other gifts. By saying “This is good,” we enjoy a feeling of contentment that also lets us pour positive energy into others, helping them to use their own gifts.

The Gift Of Intention

This gift is the ability to choose a new direction or return to an old one, regardless of current circumstances. It asks the questions, “What now?” and “What next?” When we remind ourselves that “It ain’t over until it’s over,” we can decide to leave the past behind or trade something good for something even better.

In the year ahead, until we reach our next 9/11, resolve to be the kind of person you wish the rest of the world would be. It’s the greatest gift you can give yourself, our world and those we remember on this day.

This Blog was inspired by the sermons of Rev. Margee Grounds, Rev. Diane Brandenburg, Dr. Joe Vitale and the work of Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona

Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

Changing our world for the better begins with us, right now, today.

In Love and Gratitude,
Sandi

What Do You Want?

“When Nature has work to be done, she creates a genius to do it.”

— Ralph Waldo Emerson: 19th century American essayist and philosopher

T. Harv Eker tells us that Action is the bridge between our inner and outer world.

Until we DO something, NOTHING happens.

Genius is born out of accomplishment. It’s not the ability you have, but what you do with it. It’s fueled by imagination, desire, inspiration, and perspiration — not by how smart you are.

All of us have the capability to become a genius — as Eker says, “Every Master was once a disaster.” We just need to discover our ‘BIG WHAT’.

Once we have defined our BIG WHAT — what do we really want to manifest in our life, and why do we want it — the HOW and when gets easier.

WHAT do you want?

  • Do you have a clearly defined Goal statement?
  • Do you review your goal statement every day?
  • Do you read your goal statement aloud everyday?
  • If so, how do you feel when you read it?
  • Do you spend some time every day visualizing what achieving your goals would feel like?

If your answer is no to any of the above, ask yourself why.

If you come up with an excuse or a reason, tell your mind, “Thank you for sharing”, and make an appointment with your self to take action.  Get serious about what you want to attract into your life.

To take no action, is to make a decision that endorses your status quo.

Millionaire minds are geniuses of accomplishment.

Pay your self first isn’t just about money, its about time.

Is Your Comfort Zone Getting Uncomfortable?

Millionaire Minds “Tame the Cobra of Fear”

Like all graduates, I left the Millionaire Mind Intensive weekend knowing I had to change the way I think about myself and how I approached every aspect of my business and my financial life.

I started to notice how I habitually approached my business, didn’t feel quite ‘right’. Even though my old way of thinking and doing was no longer ‘comfortable’, I found myself scared spitless at the thought of stretching into a new way. That whole “taming the cobra of fear” is massively UNcomfortable and it required examining my underlying beliefs, recognizing what I’m feeling and taking action, even when I’m scared spitless.

The Law of Attraction and Cash Flow

I understand that how I’m feeling has a direct affect on what I will bring into my life, and that includes my cash flow.

When I experienced financial stagnation — a period were I just couldn’t seem to move through my existing financial position into a new one, I used the following exercises from Joan Sotkin’s ‘Be Set Free Fast’ manual. I found them very helpful and wanted to share them with the Millionaire Mind Support Network™.

  • Close you eyes and take a deep breath in and out. Think about something financial that you have been dealing with.
  • As you do this, put your attention in your heart, then your solar plexus. Notice if you are feeling any discomfort.
  • If there is any discomfort, ask yourself, “What am I feeling and is this something I have felt before?”
  • Now ask yourself, “What are my options?” What could you be feeling instead? How can you feel more hopeful about where you are going financially?
  • Take a deep breath and imagine the situation that would allow the alternate feelings to flow through you and let yourself feel those feelings.
  • Each time you have to deal with your finances, go through this exercise, re-perceiving discomfort and learning a new set of money feelings.
