Keeping the Millionaire Mind MoJo — 90-Day Wealth Conditioning Program

At the conclusion of the Millionaire Mind Intensive all of us were streaming out the doors, tired but not really wanting the experience to end. While we were exchanging names and phone numbers, a gentleman advised me to quickly journal the feelings I had around the experience. He said we would accurately remember the feelings for only a few hours, and then they would be gone. I returned to my hotel room and with great enthusiasm, reworked my company’s business plan.

I had so many insights and ahaaa’s, I couldn’t wait to put them into action. My partner and I literally rewrote process and business procedures on the way home from Fort Worth. These were good things, our business grosses increased immediately. However, many times this past month, I have wished I’d taken that wise man’s advice and journaled my MMI feelings — those internal ahaaa’s that now seem so far away.

How is your Millionaire Mind Intensive Mojo?

I have wondered how many of us are maintaining our Millionaire Mind 90-Day Wealth Conditioning Program? How many of us even know were we put the Purple book?

I did great until day-five. Then I left for a week-long business trip. I got TOO BUSY dealing with the needs of my client, to take care of me. When I got back, I got too busy dealing with the increased workload.

Oh yes, I also had numerous moments of extreme crankiness trying to deal effectively with the increase in client work.

Huh! Ask the Universe to increase my business — then hold a mini-pity-party because I have no time for my Millionaire Mind Intensive practices.

Picture our MMI trainer, Doug stroking his chin… What is wrong with this scenario?

Well, the most obvious was my shocking lack of gratitude to the Universal Rapid Response Delivery System.

I wanted increased business, the Universe delivered — BIG TIME — and so fast, I hadn’t had time to increase my ability to receive. I wasn’t big enough to accept my immediate good — Yet!

Trust me I am working on building a bigger vessel.

What does T. Harv say? “You make excuses or get busy and produce results.”

So how do you get your Millionaire Mind Intensive MoJo back?

Pick up the Purple book. Use it! Start back at day one.
Do your VAKs.
Look your self in the mirror and speak out your Declarations with the same intensity you had when Doug lead us from the stage.
That’s what I’m doing. Because, being busy is not the same as taking care of business.

Please share any tips and techniques you have used for maintaining your Millionaire Mind MoJo.

As we support each other to success, we continue to build our on-line, Millionaire Master Mind Group.

Small Business Funding

Funding For Small Business Owners

I thought my fellow Millionaire Minds might be interested in a April 2007 Fast Company article featuring Prosper.com.

Access to capital, either for a start-up venture, or to fund an existing enterprise’s expansion plan, is an issue most entrepreneurs deal with. As the Circuit Rider for the Colorado Small Business Development Center, I spent the majority of my time developing business plans and arranging funding for small business owners. Colorado had established a Community Banking Initiative that funded start-ups with Micro-Loans of $25,000 or less. I wish a funding structure like Prosper.com had been one of the options I could have pursued for my clients. It seems to be structured as a win/win. The investors have the opportunity to receive a good return on their excess capital, and individuals can access the capital market directly.

The following is a description excerpted from the Prosper.com site. It is a fascinating concept and one worth investigating.

Prosper, America’s first people-to-people lending marketplace, was created to make consumer lending more financially and socially rewarding for everyone.

The way Prosper works is intuitive to people who have used eBay. Instead of listing and bidding on items, people list and bid on loans using Prosper’s online auction platform.

People who want to lend set the minimum interest rate they are willing to earn and bid in increments of $50 to $25,000 on loan listings they select. People who lend can easily diversify using “standing orders”, which automatically make many small loans to different borrowers.

It is a fascinating concept, but like all things relating to business start-up and expansion, due diligence is the key to good decision making.

Welcome to My Millionaire Mind Support Network™

Fellow Millionaire Minds,

When we walked into the Millionaire Mind Intensive, most of us didn’t have any idea what to expect. Over 300-Austinites traveled to Fort Worth with open minds and hearts and received many wonderful gifts. Not the least of which was the opportunity to meet like-minded folks right here in the Austin area.

Some of us gathered names and addresses as a way to maintain the wondrous sense of community we all experienced that weekend and find a way to structure a process to continue giving and receiving that support once we returned to our daily lives.

The purpose of the The My Millionaire Mind Support Network™ blog is to foster a virtual cooperative of Millionaire Minds, and to provide a positive environment to nurture the skills and new thought processes that began with our MMI experience. This blog is all about sharing and supporting. As each of us grapple with the challenges and successes of IRL (In Real Life) we can share our experiences and to support each other as we implement the many strategies and tactics we experienced in MMI.

The My Millionaire Mind Support Network™ blog is a strategic communication tool, but the messages should be personally supportive. For our blog to succeed in its purpose, there must be trust and integrity. The nature of our blogging topics will reflect the immediacy of our daily lives, our successes and challenges and the need for “Millionaire Minded Responsiveness.”

Use this blog to nourish your commitment to a new way of thinking and to supporting others in doing the same.

A separate section of the My Millionaire Mind, website has been developed to support each other’s business, professional and personal enterprises. The purpose of our Millionaire Mind Support Network™ section is to foster leadership, share best practices, and to develop potential partnerships and associates for our various ventures.

Everyone should consider this a “Beta” site. As web developers, we may have poured a foundation, and framed in the walls and roof; but how the final structure will look and feel will be up to our Millionaire Mind Support Network™ community. You are the ones who will paint the walls and arrange the furniture. Welcome to MyMillionaireMinds.com, this is your site.
